Telesat credit rating updated

OTTAWA, ON, February 5, 2003 - Standard and Poor's (S&P) today lowered Telesat Canada's long-term corporate credit and senior unsecured debt ratings to BBB- with a stable outlook, from the previous BBB rating, also with a stable outlook.
